How to Choose Amazon PPC Software
The best PPC tool is the one your team can use to make better decisions at an acceptable total cost. A long feature list does not establish that a platform will improve your account.
Start with the operating model
AdLabs describes a semi-automatic workflow with human review of bid recommendations, search-term analysis, and reporting. Perpetua’s announcement explains that Sellics joined Perpetua; do not evaluate an old standalone Sellics price table as a current offer.
Amerify’s founder is featured in an AdLabs testimonial. Treat that relationship as context when evaluating this option and compare alternatives against your own requirements.
Ask every vendor the same questions
- Which ad types and marketplaces are included in the quoted plan?
- Which changes require approval, and can the team inspect a change history?
- Can you separate branded, non-branded, and product-targeting performance?
- How are budgets and unprofitable targets controlled?
- Can you export the underlying data and move away without losing your account structure?
- What do seats, ad-spend tiers, onboarding, and additional accounts cost?
Calculate total cost
Obtain current written pricing from the vendor, including billing period, minimums, spend-based charges, taxes, and cancellation terms. The previous fixed prices and payback guarantee in this article should not be used for purchasing decisions.
Run a bounded pilot
Choose a defined account or campaign group. Record the baseline, management time, spend, sales, and contribution. Agree on approval limits and rollback steps. Compare the result over a meaningful period while accounting for price, promotion, and inventory changes.
Keep the tool if it improves the work or economics enough to justify its cost. Automation still needs an accountable operator and accurate product-margin inputs.
